CORFU TOWN: Corfu Town Museums

Corfu Town prides itself on its profusion of museums, most of them unique in their category. Most of the establishments are housed in fitting premises, for example the soap museum in a working soap factory and the Museum of Byzantine (religious) Art in a deconsecrated church. This guide to Corfu’s museums is not a tour, though it does offer a suggested route between the locations which you can join at any point. Instead, it contains useful information about each facility and what you will find there. You are free to create your own tour, whether you choose to visit all the museums, or just a small selection; over the course of one day or spread over several.
