CORFU ISLAND: Durrell Island CENTRAL Tour

This tour enables readers of the Durrell books to discover that much of the Corfu that they knew endures, and can be enjoyed by those who look for it. (Please note that this tour only covers the central part of the island. Durrell-linked locations in the north can be visited as part of a separate tour.)

There's no need to meet up with a member of staff, simply download our app and start your experience straight away once at the dedicated starting point. This self-guided audio tour is available at anytime. Stop when or wherever you wish to. If you visit or stop for a drink or a meal, we advise that you turn off your GPS to prolong your mobile device's battery.

What you get:

• To activate your digital guide, the Corfu Narratour app should be downloaded from the Apple or Android store or use the icons below.
• This tour can be accessed from anywhere on the island by making your way to the starting point.
• IMPORTANT -  IGNORE THIS HILARY WILL CHANGE ONCE WE CONFIRM THE ROUTE WE MIGHT GO OVER THE SAME ROUTE TWICE....If you are coming from the South of Corfu do not turn on your GPS until you reach....
• Open the Corfu Narratour app and look for the image icon with the words  "Durrell Central Tour " underneath - See the starting point map below.
• The screen will open. Select your preferred language in the top right, now press the OPEN MAP button, and pay via our secure link.
• Once paid the tour map will appear.
• With your GPS turned on the app will start automatically once you arrive at the start point, please have your volume turned up.
• If you need to replay the narration press the icon again.
• Should you need to to stop your vehicle, please find a safe place to do so.
• This app is valid for 6 months from payment.
